Case Study

The Download is an insider’s look at the visual world. Each episode in this web series features a panel of visual experts from around the globe taking on the topics that affect the imagery you choose for your projects—and how Getty Images can help you deliver your brand’s goals.

In this project, I served as the lead designer, overseeing various responsibilities such as crafting graphics for landing pages, emails, as well as producing videos and motion graphics.

As the video editor, my tasks included assembling the introductory video (shown above) to creatively kick off each episode. Additionally, I managed other video editing duties such as crafting social assets and editing segments to seamlessly compile the complete episode.

In the realm of motion graphics, my role involved creating branded transitions, name straps, title cards, sound effects, and more, all aimed at maintaining a consistent and cohesive branding throughout the project.

Speaker Windows

Designed in photoshop these speaker windows were designed to be a part of The Download web series branding.

Speaker windows from 1 all the way to 6 speakers were created for different scenarios. These graphics feature a static background with the down branded arrow

The graphics make it simple to pop into after effects or priemier to create a branded look for video broadcasting. In addition it made it easy for views to follow along when presentations were being presented.

Transitions

Transitions play a crucial role in our web series. Using After Effects, I skillfully incorporated the "download" arrow branding and integrated sound effects to ensure smooth and effortless transitions between speakers and presentations.

Exported in .MOV format to provide a transparent background these transitions were primarily used to segment our content, aiding in both the organization of our material and the creation of effective social promotions.

Namestraps, Agendas, Title Cards

Namestraps, agendas, and title cards were designed and developed for every episode to be consistent with branding. All these assets were created using After Effects and later imported into Preimer Pro to create the final episode.

Emails

We meticulously designed and composed emails to maintain a consistent branded experience. Prior to each episode, emails were dispatched to enhance attendance, and post-event emails were also sent out. Following the conclusion of the season, we distributed an on-demand email showcasing all the episodes, directing recipients to a dedicated landing page where they could access the entire series.

Social Teaser

After the episode aired, we released social teasers to boost viewership on YouTube. These teasers, typically brief and bite-sized, provided a sneak peek into the episode's content and were shared across all our social channels.
